Green Group present at the British School and the British Embassy

Green Group has recently taken two briefings on the importance of recycling, addressed to both students at the British School and employees of the UK Embassy in Bucharest.

The purpose of this initiative is to increase the awareness of the importance of smart recycling, while also wishing to bring to attention the environment.

Officially, over 98% of the waste generated in Romania reaches the landfills, the European average being about 38%. Only 2% of them are treated and recycled. Thus, within the two presentations, Green Group encouraged the recycling behavior, exposing them to the present steps of the collection process.
